As I was waiting for my bread and butter pudding to bake, I happened to chance upon this interesting show called Dinner Impossible.
Being an avid reader of cook books and I love to watch cook shows, my eyes were fixed on this new episode.
This episode really made me think that, as long as you do your best, nothing is impossible.
Chef Robert was asked to make dinner for 450 people for a Yahoo! event in 8 hours.
The menu was decided by the Top 15 recipes searched on Yahoo! that was randomly matched with Top 15 food items searched on Yahoo!
You can imagine the bizarre recipes that this mix and match search engine.
The normal recipes included Green Tea Crepes, Chicken Fried Rice and Pineapple Cookies.
The really bizarre ones were Apple Sushi, Salmon Cupcakes, Lemon Soup, Pumpkin Lasagna Peanut Butter Chili?
I was like.. oh my word? How is this chef going to make this work? He was practically doing trial and error for such a grand event.
In the end, like all happy endings, the dishes turned out really well! (:
