Banana Walnut Teacake

Woohoo! Today, my mother asked me to bake a cake for her cell group! I was really happy to do it for her, since baking is my passion!

I seriously believe in http://community.livejournal.com/bakebakebake/ for all my recipes! (:
I decided to bake banana walnut tea cake since my family had 8 bananas at home. In case you didn't know, my family are banana fans. Every week, we will always buy 2 clusters of bananas home.

Bananas are great. by the way. Bananas are rich in vitamin B6 and they are a good source of fiber, vitamin C, magnesium and potassium. Bananas also contain plenty of carbohydrates which are the body's main source of energy.

Bananas can be used to blend with low fat yogurt to make healthy smoothies. Due to its thick texture, the smoothie will taste really excellent. Bananas can also be blend with passion fruit and oranges to give you a healthy fruit juice.

Okay, enough said about the benefits of bananas. I shall touch on my newest baking creation! The photos really don't look like much because of the dull brown colour. However, the smell of the cake was amazing and the texture of the cake was smooth. I am really proud of this cake creation because even I was shocked at the end results!
